The best little thing EVER!

Whats up guys and gals!

Today I wanted to share with you one of my most recent purchases from Amazon.com. This purchase was made because I am going to be building a second computer to do all the encoding for my streams. What really drove me to make this purchase was the fact that I am limited on desk space.

So lets get to it!  What is this Item I am talking about? Well its a small 7" touch screen monitor. That's right,a 7" TOUCHSCREEN MONITOR! At a price under $100 its a serious little monitor that you can really benefit from.

This is the Eviciv 7" Capacitive Touch Screen For Raspberry Pi. But don't look away just yet!  This is a stand alone monitor that works with any computer that has a USB and HDMI out port! This screen is an IPS (full viewing angle) with a resolution of 1024x600, 16:9 ratio just like your standard monitors, and has a contrast of 700:1. The clarity of this little screen is surprisingly AMAZING! and the speakers are a nice little touch if you want to play some music or maybe your stream alerts!

My initial thought before purchasing this was "well how good can this touch screen be with my fat fingers?" So the first thing I did, when it cam in, was try just that, the touch screen. To my surprise, it worked without any issues and I didn't have a hard time trying either. It picked up my fingers just as good as my smartphone.
It sounds great but you still my be slightly confused as to why you might want one of these or how having one of these might benefit you. Well just think about this, You are a Content Creator that has two different computers for streaming/recording your content. Now you have two keyboards, 2 mice and probably 3 monitors. well your desk is getting mighty cluttered there! With using this touch screen monitor you can now eliminate a mouse and keyboard! Not to mention you can keep this little guy where you can read it!  Just imagine all the space for activities you will have!
